So, you guessed it, a second generation Mini Goldendoodle is backbred with either a pure Poodle, or a first generation Mini Goldendoodle. Then when you add the “B” to F2B we now know this means backbred. It could be a mix of two first generation Mini Doodles (F1 x F1) or it could be a first generation Mini Goldendoodle bred with another second generation Mini Doodle. It gets a little more complicated – there are multiple generations of Goldendoodles- but hang in there with us.į2 mini Goldendoodle means the dog is a second generation Mini Goldendoodle. This is because they want more of the Poodle characteristics like non-shedding and the poodle’s super intelligence.
